Samsung Galaxy Note 2 on Verizon – Plenty of branding going on

Last week, we brought the news that the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 was heading to Verizon. Now there are some new pictures that have emerged showing the Galaxy Note 2 with some Verizon branding. Not only is there the customary logo on the back, but there is also a branded home button.
Much like the Galaxy S III, the Galaxy Note 2 would carry the same form factor across the globe. That is with the exception of some carrier specific logos. I have to say, I’m really not feeling the logo on the home button. Looks tacky, and quite frankly forced. The Galaxy Note 2 is such a sexy looking device, so why Big Red would deface this beauty is beyond me. Maybe this is just a demo unit and Verizon wants everyone and their momma to know who’s Note 2 it is. Maybe they thought that the rather large ” Verizon 4G LTE” logo on the back was too subtle? We will see soon enough I’m sure.

How do you feel about the logo on the home button? Anyone else need a barf bag ?
