Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Rollout Starting Now!
The big moment is here. Earlier we reported that Android 4.1, Jelly Bean was being released to the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) and now it is official that Jelly Bean is being rolled out to devices. Of course, the first devices to recieve the Jelly Bean sweetness will be Nexus devices, specifically the HSPA+ version of the Galaxy Nexus.
The rollout is starting now and will complete within the next couple of days. So, if you have a HSPA+ Galaxy Nexus keep an eye out for the notification telling you that it’s time to update. For those who own the LTE version of the Galaxy Nexus, you’ll be up next along with the Nexus S and the Motorola Xoom, though there are no hard dates yet.
