App Review – TweetDark, The Sexiest Android Twitter Client There is!

This is the Android Does review of TweetDark, The darkest and sleekest TweetDeck modification out there! Wayne at WJD Designs has worked more wonders to have this latest version of Tweet Deck Dark working well with Tablets as well as Smartphones. This means that the landscape mode on smartphones which was not working very well has now been fixed. More information after the jump.
All the image’s below are of my SGS II

The smartphone landscape mode is really very good on my SGS II and on the HTC Desire.
Landscape mode on my Tablet (Archos 101 it) is clear and very readable having the white text on the dark background, which also goes for the smartphones.

The problem with Facebook not running on HTC is due to HTC having it’s own Facebook built-in to the Stock Rom. (This does not apply to all HTC devices)
Running Facebook on Non-Stock or custom Rom’s can be achieved by the following instructions:
1. Make sure you have Uninstalled or deleted any Facebook Apps you have on the phone.
2. Install TweetDark
3. Setup all accounts in TweetDark you would like, especially Facebook
4. Re-Install or Add your Facebook App accounts.
Now as well as Twitter and Facebook, you can also log-on to Foursquare and Buzz. Accounts show up as different lights that alternate through your time line! (Must be logged in to all separate accounts in the application!)
Conclusion
Wayne at WJD Designs has worked very hard to get the landscape mode working and the dark background with the light text works great. Having the Fully themed time lines along with the graphics are good. This is by far one of, if not the best themed Twitter clients out there. It really looks fantastic and WJD Designs has once again come up with the goods.
This app is free but has a donation version as well, which costs $.99 / 69p. We ask you to support the developers for all his time and effort and pick up the donation version. Its well worth it!
