Archos release the 9.7 inch Carbon Tablet

2 to 3 years ago Archos was a barely known company. Let alone manufacturing tablets. What let it down in the beginning was its inability to use the full Android OS, going for a partial Android OS which did not let you access the Google Play Store (Market as it was then). This in itself held it back. Now though Archos is coming back, especially in the European market. The French consumer electronics company has most likely caught your eye lately with some more than decent budget-friendly entry-level and midrange tablets.
The 80 G9/101 G9 duo has been in the headlines back in March, releasing both models worldwide with an early ICS upgrades, Now  comes the unbelievably affordable 9.7-inch “97 Carbon” which was only unveiled a few days ago and looks like a gadget set to draw the attention of tech users on a budget.
One thing about the 97 Carbon is the Android OS, it runs on ICS but, without any Archos UI, in other words pure stock, just as it should be. Network operators take note. Archos have not said anything about Jelly Bean but there’s not much difference technically.
