Samsung Loses Second German 3G Patent Lawsuit Against Apple

German court today ruled that Apple does not infringe on one of Samsung’s patents. This decision is another blow to Samsung considering the court handed out a similar decision last week. Incidentally, both complaints were related to wireless telecommunications standard. (more…)

Tablet Support for BBC News

The BBC has updated its BBC News app for Android with Honeycomb and Ice Cream Sandwich tablet support. The app now offers a larger, split-screen view for tablets running Android 3.0 and above — the layout seems very similar to the iPad version, which has been available since mid-2010. (more…)
